My Story

My entire life, I had an unhealthy relationship with food.
I didn’t understand why I was always eating to the point of physical pain, never stopping to consider if I was hungry. Even as I improved my understanding of portions and nutrition, I still lacked the willpower to stop myself from eating the third doughnut, or to pass on the movie theater popcorn, even tho I just had a full meal.

Our relationship to food can be highly complex; relating to our upbringing, our family’s emotional coping habits, our stress levels, and even our self-worth. With all of those complexities in the mix, it’s difficult to even know where to start.

After years of working towards balance, I finally feel in the driver’s seat of my relationship to food, and you can too.
